Officially launched in June 2007 at the Boston National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) exhibition, the website was founded by industry veterans, Caterina (Cathy) Tabor, Lee C. DeVito and Sam Joshi. Global Fire Professionals Network, LLC, is a Boston, Massachusetts based business, which owns Fire-Professionals.com and other valuable online assets in the fire and safety domain. Over the last year the team has added several enhancements for business and individual members and continues to enrich site resources for the fire safety industry, end users and consumers that use the site. Key Personnel

Cathy Tabor is the company's Director of Marketing and Sales. She is a solutions-focused marketing professional with over 36 years of sales and marketing experience in the Fire Protection Industry, working mainly for manufacturers.

Cathy has a distinguished track record in creating "revenue propelling" marketing programs from communications and lead generation, to the development of collateral materials and all facets of new product launches. She has both domestic and international marketing experience. In addition to promoting Fire-Professionals.com, Cathy will serve in a support role for the website membership base and, upon request, will assist members with their own marketing strategy, communications and promotional plans.

She is a member of NFPA, SFPE National, and the New England Chapter of SFPE (Society for Fire Protection Engineers).

Lee C. DeVito is the Chief Technical Advisor for our website, helping to ensure the integrity of the information offered at Fire-Professionals.com. In addition, Lee is in charge of the website's advisory board.

Lee is also the President of FIREPRO® Incorporated, a Massachusetts based fire engineering firm dedicated to applying advanced technology to today's complex fire problems. The firm provides consulting and fire engineering services, special fire industry research projects, and litigation support on special hazard fire detection and suppression systems.

Lee has over 34 years of Fire Protection Industry experience. Prior to FIREPRO, he worked for several manufacturers in systems engineering and marketing roles. Lee is a member of NFPA, and serves on the NFPA 96 Committee. He is also a member of the Society for Fire Protection Engineers, and served as Past President and Board Member of the New England Chapter.

Lee holds an MS in Mechanical Engineering from University of Massachusetts, an MBA from Northeastern University, and is a Registered Professional Fire Protection Engineer in MA and ME.

Sam Joshi is the company's Chief Application Developer, and manages the team of highly experienced program developers. He is also a highly accomplished graphic artist and has been producing exceptional quality marketing materials for several fire industry manufacturers over the last 9 years.

In addition to managing the company's website activities, Sam, along with the management team and experienced marketing and technical support staff will offer Marketing Services geared to support our Fire Industry members and to enhance our mutual success.
